For Guests
Once you've submitted a rental request, you can chat with the Host about pickup, hitch setup, or anything else. You get a full refund up to 48 hours before your trip, or within an hour of requesting for a last-minute rental. Have a question before you request? Ask Toby, the towlos virtual assistant.
Host chat is available after a rental request to protect our Hosts' privacy and keep spam out of their messages.
For Hosts
There are 3 primary ways your trailer is protected:
- The refundable Security Deposit you set per trailer should cover 95% of all incidental damage.
- Liability protection is covered through the guest's insurance policy on their tow vehicle.
- Towlos Protect+ Insurance is completely free for you as a Host - Guests pay for the coverage, but you get the benefits. Protect+ provides up to $35,000 in coverage for trailer damage, professional claims support, and faster resolution when damage occurs. Making your trailer eligible for Protect+ also attracts more confident renters, leading to more bookings. Protect+ is turned on automatically for eligible trailers.
